Salesforce Architecture & Development

2018–Present

  • Architected and built end-to-end finance, gift, payroll, and student data integrations with data modeling, asynchronous processing, and supporting Lightning web applications.
  • Built an Oracle Finance integration that moved process control from a technical owner to end users. Authored the technical specification for accounting mappings, journal entries, error thresholds, and rerun controls. Load testing validated performance for 700+ feed files and 10K+ transactions per month.
  • Built a GiveCampus integration that replaced monthly processing of gifts with daily automation and reduced processing time from hours to minutes. The integration automated account matching, pledge creation, batching, and error recovery. Load testing validated performance for 10K+ gifts per month.
  • Built a reusable asynchronous processing framework supporting 85 production Apex jobs. It enables safe reprocessing without duplicate work and publishes job status and progress through Platform Events. Built a separate Apex trigger framework with metadata-controlled execution.
  • Built a payroll deduction gift integration that automated imports, exports, and pledge creation. Added scheduled asynchronous processing with file validation and error reporting.
  • Collaborated remotely with the gift team to define requirements for financial feed, gift load, and payroll integrations. Met weekly with the team before launch and daily afterward.
  • Built a student data integration with a supporting Lightning web application, replacing monthly updates with daily automation for 22K+ students.
  • Replaced legacy Process Builders with record-triggered Flows, reducing bulk-update time by 82% for 300K+ Accounts and 60% for 300K+ Contacts.
  • Upgraded 483 Apex classes and triggers to API version 67, reviewing and updating data access and sharing where needed. Supported the transition from profile-based field-level security to permission sets.
  • Eliminated 186 Apex test failures, automated daily full test runs, and created reusable test-data builders to improve test consistency and maintainability.
  • Owned release management and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Salesforce CLI. Conducted code reviews, mentored developers, and approved all source-controlled production releases.
